Enchanted Fine Art Benefit Mission Statement: T.E.A.M. “Striving to help those members of our community who find themselves in times of need.” Together Everyone Accomplishes More T.E.A.M. is an associate based organization established to provide support to our local non-profit organizations. In 2008, First National Bank held the first Enchanted Fine Art Benefit. The event was a great success, and is now an annual event. The proceeds from the event are distributed to non-profit organizations that have demonstrated a need for the funds. Following is the information for Enchanted Fine Art Benefit 2011. Enchanted Fine Art Benefit 2011 Event Date: October 21, 2011 Deadline for Delivery: 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 **Call for Artists** The Enchanted Fine Art Benefit and First National Bank - announce a "Call For Artists" who are interested in participating in this much anticipated annual art auction for charity. This juried exhibition will showcase selected regional artist of multi mediums. Entry selections may include paintings, photography, sculptures, pottery, textiles and other distinctive works of art. First National Bank will host an exhibition for the selected submissions of the art until the auction date on October 21, 2011. Submissions will be subject to review and a selection process. The best pieces will be featured in a live auction with the remaining pieces featured in a silent auction. Silent auction pieces will be on display for bidding in the bank lobby until the conclusion date of Friday October 21, 2011 - proceeds to benefit the ABC Scholarship Fund. ABC Scholarships (Art Benefits Children). Proceeds are awarded through scholarships to teachers for their classroom needs or projects. Two scholarships are awarded each year, spring and fall. Applications for teachers can be obtained at www.fnb4u.com click on FNBee's Community Corner and ABC Scholarships. Scholarships are awarded based on need and merit. Artists may donate their work or receive 50% of the price the work sells for. The proceeds from the live auction will benefit two charities for 2011. 1. EBNBD Family & Youth Support Network (Emotional Behavioral, Neurobiological Disorders). This non-profit advocacy agency focuses on families with children and youth who have been diagnosed with the above disorders or who are at risk. These disorders include learning disabilities, ADHD/ADD, Bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders, PTSD, and many others. 2. Love INC of Otero County, inspire and serves the needs of the poor and disadvantaged in our community. Meeting their needs through the food pantry, clothing bank, household furniture and back packs. The back pack program provides weekend packs filled with non-perishables, to public school children that are identified as being in need. All participating Artists will be invited to the Enchanted Fine Art Benefit Gala. This premier affair is one of the most anticipated fine art events in Otero County. Attire is festive.
